MYRTLEFORD MEN'S SHED

PRESIDENT’s SHAVINGS
Latest update - September 20
Trevor Isherwood has taken over the reigns as President.
As indicated in the previous pages, members can construct projects for themselves, for sale via the Myrtleford Historical Society Flea market or the Whorouly market. We regularly repair older wooden kitchen chairs where the glue has failed due to age. The current items are charcuterie boards, and Heavy chopping boards and wooden buckets.
Other items available for purchase are Adirondack chairs made from recycled pallets - it is incredible how the old pallets when cleaned up bring out real character in the timber. Chair No 150 came off the assembly line in August. The Myrtleford times did a great article in an august edition of the paper.
Serving platters, from various timbers, small wooden toys, butchers blocks, children table and chairs and many other small items are available for purchase.
Shed members also man a stand at the Myrtleford Flea Market selling items made by members at the shed. Items include platters, wooden toys, boot racks, turned items, Finskas and items on demand.
The shed has just taken delivery of a 2nd hand 3D printer, that will allow construction of smaller items. During the training stages bandsaw guides and Alan key holders have been constructed
